Prior to forming Silverman Schermer, Adam Silverman and Steve Schermer practiced together for nearly 20 years at the Coral Gables based firm of Breier, Seif, Silverman & Schermer, P.A., having both been recruited to the firm right out of law school. Kristen Yates was part of the core team for the last 7 of those years.
In creating Silverman Schermer, Adam and Steve seized an opportunity to bring their collective experience and like-minded vision to launch a new kind of firm, one where – as Albert Einstein famously said — “[e]verything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.” Silverman Schermer’s team is no stranger to complex legal issues, but doesn’t over-lawyer, over-bill or unnecessarily complicate matters. The firm’s lawyers efficiently handle the most complicated of issues, with a long and proven track record of creative solutions and optimal outcomes for their clients.
Silverman Schermer recognizes that clients have a wide range of available choices for legal counsel. The firm sets itself apart from others by providing unparalleled service coupled with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to every matter. As a boutique firm, and owing to our attorneys’ commitment to one another, our business model allows our lawyers to maintain close personal relationships with clients and their families over many years, without the concern of high turnover (and the “passing off” from one lawyer to another) that is prevalent among larger firms. Most importantly, there is never a sacrifice in the quality of our advice or counsel.
